Have you ever found a bug in your home and didn't know what it was? Now there's an iPhone app to help you identify it.
The tropical weather here in Tampa Bay makes it an ideal climate for all kinds of crawling and flying pests, many of which eventually end up in your house. The new iPest1 app which was developed by researchers with the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences provides color photos and text about almost 40 pest species.
The iPest1 app is already being used by pest professionals and is currently available on the iPhone for $1.99.
